Services

  • Keisha is available for teaching artist work in school settings in NYC or virtually during weekdays in the morning or early afternoon. She is currently a teaching voice for dancers at the Joffrey Trainee Program. In the past she has worked with Roundabout Theater Company, People’s Theatre Project, and in the Massachusetts public school system. Her training includes annual and monthly profession development, a teaching fellowship with Jen Waldman Studio and completion of her BFA in Music Theater at the Hartt School of Music.

  • Keisha is available for one-on-one coaching for audition material, self-tapes and more. If you eyes on material, help conceptualizing your self-tape or a buddy to help keep you focused, Keisha is your girl.

  • This spring Keisha will be available for private voice lessons virtually and in person. Keep an eye out here and on her socials for more information. @keisha_gilles

About

As a teaching artist, Keisha creates an inspiring and inclusive environment by encouraging students to bring authenticity to their work. She teaches mostly in high school settings creating connections between the arts and school curriculum. Keisha has worked with companies like Disney Theatrical Group, People’s Theatre Project and Roundabout Theatre Company helping students to devise their own works in the disciplines of dance and theater.

Keisha is also available for one-on-one acting coaching sessions virtually or in-person (NYC only). Her coaching style mimics how she prepares for auditions and prepares for roles through investigating the text and the life of the character. Through her compassionate and encouraging approach, she guides artists to embrace creativity and personal growth, inspiring them to shine on and off the stage.
